Quilt of Hope

See below a project we endorse from one of our families. If interested please contact Jan. Thanks Families of the missing are invited to participate; they will need an article of clothing that belonged to their missing loved one, if possible cut a 9 1/2" square (the extra 1/2" is used for the border). Use the 9" to customize your own square. Put a picture of him or her on it (like the pics on tee shirts,) maybe a website link and something written on it that has sentimental value. The quilt will be similar to the AIDS and CANCER quilts. I will be traveling to Texas in July to a forensics training conference, medical examiners, coroners law enforcement will be attending. I am hoping I will be able to take it with me (although not completed) I think it will be heartwarming to see the faces on each square belonging to each missing person it should portray a powerful impact, and give a message that each person has a past and people who love them. Please if you have any questions, contact me at wjs7@aol.com or mail (below)
